 The Sub-Acute Nurse Manager will report to the Executive Director of Nursing Services and will be responsible for supervising staff in order to provide and ensure the best possible patient care.  Specific functions include communications, leadership, problem solving, quality evaluation, staff development and education, maintaining standards, participating in budget planning, and self-learning and improvement.

Requirements:  Ability to work effectively with others, multi-tasking skills and a teaching aptitude a must. Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.  BLS Health Care Provider certification required.  Must possess a broad knowledge of nursing principles, procedures and practice and a working knowledge of Joint Commission and Title 22, Section 73000; Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter 42, Health and Safety Regulations, and OBRA ’87 and ’90.
